November  2019<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear valued friend of the Orangutan Conservancy<\/strong>, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we approach 2020, I would like\nto thank you for your support this past year!  \nWith the help of our Orangutan Conservancy<\/strong>\ncommunity we have been able to contribute substantially to many on the\nground efforts to conserve orangutans. \nThanks to you, we have been able to do so much good!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. We\nhave been able to contribute to the valiant efforts to fight the fires that\nhave been raging all over Indonesia.  <\/li>
  2. We\nhave organized another successful Orangutan Veterinary Advisory Group Workshop\nwhich had the most participants ever (in Jogjakarta Indonesia)! <\/li>
  3. We\nhave been able to assist in the building of a better veterinary clinic for\nSintang Orangutan Center (west Kalimantan, Indonesia).<\/li>
  4. We\nhave contributed to the running and maintenance of the Borneo Nature Foundation\n(Central Kalimantan).<\/li>
  5. We\nhave continued to assist many on the ground small organizations working very\nhard to protect the only great ape in Asia!!!!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    We have also been \u2018tweaking\u2019 our\npresence here at home!  When you have a\nmoment, please visit our redesigned website (orangutan.com).  We have also been more active on Facebook (a\nlike is always nice!) and Twitter thanks our new Digital and Social Media Coordinator, Eric Depalma who has been an amazing addition to our team!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We also have many new ways for you to show your continued support, one of which is our newly branded  OC: artistry X conservation<\/a> initiative! Several artists have offered to support us by sharing profits from their work on Etsy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
